Welcome to our occasional weekend newsletter, which focuses on interesting active adult and 55+ communities and the issues attached to them.

You Make the Call Results
Many thanks to everyone who voted in Wednesday's poll to determine future articles.  "Dueling States: NC vs. SC" was the runaway winner, followed by a tight cluster including: "What is Your Retirement Lifestyle", "Make Your Lifetime Bucket List", and "Dueling States: NM vs. CO". "International Retirement" and "NM vs. CO" trailed. Now that we have a winner, you can look forward to seeing "Dueling States: NC vs. SC" in next Wednesday's newsletter. Note: apologies to all who missed our note and wondered why the voting links took them to un-related articles - since the new ones weren't written yet, it was the only way to count your votes!

3 of Arizona's More Interesting Active Communities
We count reviews of 88 different AZ active adult and 55+ communities in 22 towns here at Topretirements.com. Here is a sample of 3 of the more interesting communities in the Grand Canyon State. To see all 88, just go to our Arizona Directory of Active Adult Communities.  Take some time exploring that directory to find places that appeal to you (Use Advanced Search to hone in on specific amenities, type of community, state, or price range)

Situated near the historic artist colony of Tubac in southern Arizona you will find the Sanctuary at Tubac. The Federal Energy Star-rated homes in this community also have solar options. Golf is a big focus here. One interesting twist is the special feature that gives each unit a separably lockable guest casita. The resort will rent them out for you, thus helping you defray your expenses when you are not there.

Province - Phoenix
This community in Maricopa (near Phoenix) won an award in 2006 from the NAHB's 50+ Home Builders' Council. Its villas are set on 125 acres of parks and next to 25 acres of lakes. Golf is available across the street for those who want it. The busy community center with many interesting programs.

We are proud to have Sun City Festival as a Showcase Listing at Topretirements.  This community features some amazing resources, like its 31,000 sq.ft. Sage Center for Wellness and Higher Learning. Play golf at the championship golf course, join one of the many clubs, or take a class at the ASU Lifelong Learning Academy.
